A young creative entrepreneur, Marcus Majors has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his vast array of skills and talents and impeccable work ethic. Born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, he always had a passion for music and the arts. He moved to Miami, FL in 2008 to attend Johnson & Wales University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in International Business.
The 27 year old entrepreneur found no better way to interpret music than through dance. He soon became a client relations host at BNW Entertainment Group, hosting workshops and encouraging growth in South Florida’s dance community. The multi-talented triple threat has danced on stage for pop stars Fifth Harmony, Marc Anthony and Reggaeton star Farruko. He has also appeared in music videos for today’s hip hop heavyweights such as Nicki Minaj, Sean Paul, and Trey Songz and has been featured in nationwide TV commercials such as: AT&T, Corona Light, Party City, Ciroc and Dunkin Donuts. As an actor, Marcus hit the big screen in 2016 with dance appearances in films like “The Boss” starring Melissa McCarthy, “Ghostbusters” and “Break the Stage”, and in the comedy “Step Sisters” set to release Spring 2017.
Dedicated to service and philanthropy, Marcus is a renowned Commercial Hip Hop dance teacher in South Florida and a sought after Choreographer for artists and studios. As a philanthropist, he started his own non-profit organization: “Empowering Expressions” in 2016 to help combat bullying and raise youth’s self esteem. An aspiring motivational speaker and life coach: Majors challenges youth to go against the grain and wholeheartedly pursue their dreams with hard work and discipline leading by example.
